Melissa Kuklin is Special Projects Advisor at Friends of UNFPA, where she works to mobilize funds and action for UNFPA’s lifesaving work. For thirty years, Melissa has worked in the non-profit sector where she has shaped and launched new fundraising initiatives and improved organizational effectiveness. Melissa has been with Friends of UNFPA since 2010. Her previous leadership and management roles include over a decade at Lincoln Center, where she led special events fundraising activities first at The Metropolitan Opera and later at New York City Opera. Melissa received an MA in Higher Education from the University of Michigan, Ann Arbor and a BA from Smith College and currently sits on the Board of Directors for New York Classical Theatre.
