Patricia Fili-Krushel has changed the media industry by her own pioneering achievements and her energetic mentorship of other women.
Ms. Fili-Krushel is the first woman to become president of one of the three major networks, and she has earned numerous awards and distinctions for her career achievements and contributions to the entertainment community. During her tenure as president of ABC, its ranking improved from third to first in the ratings. She introduced The View to audiences and was the first to offer socially relevant content, including stories designed to educate viewers about teen pregnancy and AIDS, on daytime soap operas. At every stage of her career, Ms. Fili-Krushel has shown an exceptional commitment to women’s advancement in the field.
“When there are no women at your level, you have to be your own role model and bring along others,” says Ms. Fili-Krushel. “I have relished every opportunity I could provide for other women.”
As the Executive Vice President of Administration at Time Warner Inc., Ms. Fili-Krushel’s responsibilities include Human Resources, Talent Development and Acquisition, and Corporate Social Responsibility.
During her current tenure at Time Warner, she has been a tireless advocate for women and she initiated the company’s leadership programs for women, which have served as a model for other companies. Thanks to Ms. Fili-Krushel, Time Warner has been a generous and engaged corporate partner to organizations such as Americans for UNFPA.
