Minh Ngo, J.D., Chair, Board of Directors
Minh serves as the Chair of the Board of Directors of Friends of UNFPA (United Nations Population Fund). Based in Silicon Valley, Minh is a philanthropic leader and social entrepreneur with a personal passion for and commitment to improving the health, well-being and quality of life for women and children -- locally and globally.
For nearly three decades, Minh has worked with nonprofit organizations, private foundations, government agencies and corporate partners to create wide-scale, social change. In addition to her work with Friends of UNFPA, Minh is a member of the Board of Directors of the 100 Women Charitable Foundation (Los Altos, CA), Art Works for Change (Oakland, CA), and San Jose Taiko (San Jose, CA). She also serves as an advisor to San Jose State University’s Research Institute for Foster Youth Initiatives (RIFYI). In her nonprofit executive and board roles, Minh has raised millions in philanthropic contributions and social venture funds to support her causes.
Minh is a graduate of the University of California at Berkeley and Santa Clara University’s School of Law. She lives in California with her husband, Dr. Stephen F. Diamond, and their son.
